We are your local Lions Club, but part of the International Association of Lions Clubs. The Penn Glade Lions Club was established March 04, 1974, by a group of service and community minded men and women who where interested in improving the life in their community and beyond, and to aid and assist those less fortunate than themselves.

As Lions, we are very proud in what our club has done in its 35 years of existence. We have generated over $200,000 in charity moneys. We have generated money through labor to buy 18 acres of land on Church Road and build a beautiful park, consisting of an A/C building with full kitchen and seating capacity of 120, and a large outdoor shelter with toilet facilities, a gazebo, ball field and play ground. This park was built by the members, and moneys from cutting, stacking and delivering firewood through out Butler County. Moneys were also earned from selling shale and timber from the property and selling a piece of ground to Bell Atlantic Mobile for the tower. This park is now self supporting.
